Update Oct 22, 2009
Steven W contributes version for compilation under linux using sdcc
Update May 11, 2009
John A version 0.1 added, hardware based upon pic 16f690
Update 6/4/2008
Version 0.3 added
This version fully supports ASU for updates (Meade never released new FW so nothing in that category).
Adds Focuser ala lx200/APM909 by Aux bus clone of the 1244 focuser.
Adds Multi speed CCD port guiding capabilities ala lx200/APM909
Guiding enabled by a toggle switch, Guiding Speed selection via a toggle switch.
Guiding enabled and placing the 494 into ‘download’ mode are mutually exclusive, DO NOT DO IT!
Major parts list and main web page need schematic update to support the new features.
All features can be enabled/disabled at compilation time.
Enabling all features requires more code space than 16F627 provides. Check the project page for an INI file change to make
to the PICL C compiler so it –may- support the 16F628 also. The current PICL does compile this code correctly with the INI file change enabling the 16F628.
